27th March 2026 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy with light rain Max Speed: Distance Covered: 3 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Friday 27th March - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – cloudy with some light rain. Yesterdays sunshine has disappeared but I decided to join Mag for her early morning walk along a very grey and quiet Felixstowe prom. We made it to the seat just past the Fludyers Hotel before ambling back home, the Ferris wheel is back and nearly erected so I decided to head out in the van to take a couple of pics of it with my long lens. I ended up at Felixstowe Ferry and with the 400mm lens you can get some different shots but did not get any on the TV weather:( Being Friday Mag picks up Maeva and enjoy our usual fun, she is a joy at the moment, just full off chat, we give her a present from France, a fluffy toy chicken with chocolate eggs which she likes! Her favourite thing at the moment is just cutting paper with small scissors which she is really good at and still has all her fingers:) I then pack lunch for our favourite picnic in the van and manage to park at the bottom of bent to watch old people walk past:) Maeva then makes us get out of the van for a walk up to the Spa Theatre through the gardens and back along the prom playing beach hut hide and seek. Then a trip round Lidl and home for cake with Peppa Pig before taking her home, despite the chilly gloom it was another top Friday:) Photo Album here |
